Lorn and I bring almost 20 years of professional programming experience with them everywhere they go. Experience is lightweight and very portable, so it just seems silly to leave it at home.
The technologies that were in popular use when we started our careers are largely irrelevant today. Sure, DBase knowledge may come in handy during a migration, but otherwise how do those years of experience translate into value for you? In that time we have seen and done some really cool stuff with the tools at our disposal. We’ll admit it, we have also seen and done some stuff that was really quite silly. Good or bad, every assignment has improved our ability to communicate with customers and implement solutions to their problems.
We’re the type of programmers who stay up well past midnight most nights working on code, with or without a customer project.

Our big focus is on writing web applications quickly and soundly using TurboGears and Ruby on Rails because they are just so fun and robust. They allow development to proceed at a pace that makes custom web application development affordable even for small and medium sized organizations. We are also well versed in Java and other technologies.
